Vogt-Plastic is one of Germany’s leading manufacturers of high-quality recycled granulates made from plastic waste. The goal is to transform packaging waste from households into valuable raw materials and contribute to a sustainable future.
The recycling process begins with the treatment of materials from the “yellow bag.” The plastics are further shredded, washed, and separated by type from other materials. This results in high-quality regrind, which serves as the basis for further processing and is then temporarily stored in big bags.
Twelve vibration tables from NetterVibration compact the regrind at the company’s site in Rheinfelden before extrusion, increase process reliability, and ensure uniform material compaction.
The result: up to 20% higher filling capacity per big bag, and up to 33% increase overall – from 600 kg to over 800 kg. Storage requirements and transport effort are significantly reduced. For example, every fifth internal logistics trip can be eliminated. Thanks to the higher density, big bags can be stored more safely and stably in a smaller area.
