During the filling of containers, a bulk material cone typically forms, which must be levelled to make optimal use of the volume. At the same time, depending on the size and shape of the material, unwanted voids and uneven weight distribution can occur. This can lead to material deformation, resulting in reduced quality and potential issues in subsequent processing steps.
Vibration technology sets the bulk material into motion, reducing friction between individual particles, increasing density, and minimising the space taken up. As a result, additional volume becomes available for further filling, weight distribution is optimised, and the bulk material is handled gently. Overall, this leads to lower packaging, transport, and storage costs. Across the entire production chain, significant economic and ecological savings can be realised wherever bulk materials need to be packaged and transported.
The Universally Designed Flat Table
The compact VTF series flat vibration table from NetterVibration, with a build height of less than 50 cm, is suitable for various pallet formats. It allows loads to be moved quickly to and from the table at floor level using pallet trucks. With a load capacity of up to 1 tonne, it can also be used flexibly and mobilised thanks to integrated rollers. The VTF is driven by electric or pneumatic vibrators that generate vertically directed vibrations. The shaking process optimally distributes the bulk material within the container, closes voids, and achieves ideal compaction, ensuring that space is fully utilised.
The elastic suspension supports the required vibration amplitude while providing perfect vibration isolation, minimising the transmission of vibrations to the substructure and the floor. The vibration table is equipped with an SRF series control unit, which can include a scale and a frequency converter, allowing the fill weight, frequency, and vibration amplitude to be variably adjusted. The frequency converter enables stepwise shaking and gentle deceleration, bringing the table to a smooth stop.
The Customised Vibration Table
NetterVibration offers cost-effective and efficient filling and packaging of all types of bulk materials with tailored solutions and systems – individually designed for the containers used and/or adapted to specific customer requirements or production environments. Examples include containers, mesh boxes, big bags, octabins, and standard cartons. Industry-specific requirements, such as the use of oil-free stainless steel equipment for food or pharmaceutical materials, or ATEX-compliant versions for the chemical industry, are also possible.
