Empty feed meal from silos reliably – vibration-assisted solution for feed production

In the production of edible oils, margarines, and feed meals, there is a need to process dried, pressed sunflower seeds into feed meal efficiently and store it in silos. During silo discharge, uninterrupted material flow is crucial to prevent bridging and blockages. In previous implementations, product blockages often required manual intervention and reduced operational efficiency. Challenges:

  • Product bridges and blockages in silos led to irregular discharge
  • Manual hammering caused damage to silos
  • Frequent cleaning and maintenance increased effort and operating costs

Our solution

NetterVibration uses a PKL series compressed-air interval hammer that regularly and automatically breaks product bridges, ensuring smooth discharge. The hammer can be retrofitted during operation using an NKK adhesive bracket, without emptying the silo or performing welding work. For optimal integration, we recommend personal consultation with our application experts.

Our advantages
  • Uninterrupted and smooth silo discharge
  • Reduced product residues and cleaning requirements
  • No damage from manual hammering
  • Efficient, low-maintenance, and sustainable solution
