Preventing Material Buildup on Conveyor Belts – Reliable Container Transport in Filling Lines Through Vibration
In the filling industry – particularly when filling glass bottles, PET bottles, and other containers – uninterrupted material flow is critical. In practice, conveyor belts frequently experience congestion, especially at high cycle rates and with changing container formats. Production downtime is the direct result.
- Irregular product flow on conveyor belts
- Container congestion at critical transfer points
- Manual intervention required
- Production downtime with corresponding cost implications
To ensure continuous material flow, the customer uses electric vibrators of the NEA type, which are mounted laterally on the conveyor belts. These generate targeted vibrations that are transmitted to the side guide rails, keeping the containers in constant motion. Depending on the material and belt speed, the vibration can be individually adjusted. For optimal selection of the appropriate NEA variant, we recommend individual consultation. The vibrators are designed for continuous operation in industrial environments and require only minimal maintenance.
- Stable material flow even at high throughput rates
- Reduced personnel and maintenance effort
- Lower wear on conveying equipment, reducing operating costs
- Easy retrofitting to existing conveyor systems
