A Big Step for Sustainability: NetterVibration Expands Photovoltaic Capacity
05.06.2025NetterVibration, a leading provider of vibration technology solutions, is reinforcing its long-standing commitment to ecological and social responsibility with a major new investment in renewable energy.
Sustainability has long been a central focus at NetterVibration. The company pursues energy-efficient technologies and resource-conscious operations, regularly monitoring and reducing its carbon footprint. These efforts span from large-scale initiatives to small, meaningful everyday changes. For example, plastic attachments are now only included when necessary, and packaging has been systematically redesigned over the years to be more environmentally friendly and material efficient. Business travel is carefully planned, favouring trains, carpools, or electric company vehicles wherever possible.
A major milestone was the move in 2020 to a modern, energy-efficient company headquarters. This transition not only improved working conditions but also significantly reduced overall energy consumption.
Now, NetterVibration is taking its next major step: expanding its photovoltaic capacity. A new system with an output of 200 kWp has been installed, complementing the existing 30 kWp unit. With the full rooftop area now in use, the company can generate approximately 1,100 to 1,200 kWh of clean electricity per day under favourable conditions—enough to meet 70–80% of its energy needs. On particularly sunny days, complete self-sufficiency is even achievable.
“We are proud of our sustainability achievements and ongoing development,” says Thomas Reis, Managing Director of NetterVibration. “The new photovoltaic system is a fantastic project with a measurable, positive daily impact.”
Achim Werkmann, also Managing Director, adds: “For us, this investment in photovoltaics is a long-term step toward greater ecological and economic stability. We are reducing our dependence on external energy sources and actively contributing to a sustainable future.”
