The generation of dust when conveying, compacting, or loosening bulk materials is often unavoidable—and presents a significant challenge for the vibration technology components in use. At the same time, the reliable performance of vibrators is essential for optimized processes and results, as well as for keeping maintenance and service costs low. NetterVibration has now expanded its NTK series to include a new variant with enhanced dust protection. This version features a precisely fitting thread and a seamlessly closing protective cap, offering not only improved durability but also a valuable contribution to occupational safety.

NTK vibrators produce linear vibration using a freely oscillating, self-reversing piston that protrudes from the housing. While effective, this design can pose risks: under dusty conditions, the exposed piston—and thus the interior of the device—may become contaminated or damaged. Additionally, depending on the vibrator’s positioning and dimensions, there is a potential risk of injury from being caught between the bolted-on oscillating weights and the housing.

The newly developed protective cap enables NTK piston vibrators to be sealed dust-tight and securely. This innovative solution offers a robust and safe alternative to traditional bellows and can even be used without limitation when specially designed vibrating masses are installed. The result: maximum protection for both equipment and personnel. Smooth surfaces without protruding edges also simplify cleaning significantly.
