Automatic and gentle sorting of chocolate eggs using vibration-assisted screening and conveying technology
In the confectionery industry, delicate chocolate products must be handled gently, hygienically and with high process reliability. During the production of filled chocolate eggs, whole eggs, half shells and fragments regularly fall out of the moulds together. Manual separation was time-consuming, error-prone and costly. This resulted in:

Together with the customer, a mobile stainless-steel vibrating screening and sorting through with electric vibrators was developed, enabling automatic and product-friendly separation of the different fractions. Through targeted consultation and extensive testing, frequency, amplitude and screen geometry were optimally adapted to the chocolate products. The compact dimensions allow easy integration into existing conveyor lines, while the mobile design enables flexible use within the production area.
