The hydraulic vibrators convert the energy of a compressed hydraulic fluid into mechanical energy to cause a rotary motion on a shaft and create a circular vibration, the power of which is adjustable by the pressure and the frequency by the flow rate of the fluid.
Depending on the application there are different types of Hydraulic Vibrators:
- Hydraulic External Vibrators to vibrate a structure (silo, feeder, vibrating table, etc…), generating circular vibrations at low frequency and high amplitude.
- Hydraulic Internal Vibrators to be immersed into the product to be vibrated (concrete, sand, melt, etc…), generating circular vibrations at high frequency and small amplitude.
The operating principle of these hydraulic vibrators is the same. A hydraulic motor coupled with a shaft which carries an unbalance, whose rotation causes a centrifugal force generating the circular vibration. The whole system is mounted in a sealed housing. The centrifugal force depends on the speed of the motor and the static moment of the unbalance.
