Vibration technology for foundries

NetterVibration supports foundries when handling moulding sand. Our shakers and vibration systems de-core cast parts and compact moulding sand. Our processes are also suitable for casts with complex structures and undercuts. We offer solutions for reprocessing moulding sand by sieving and conveying – whether it has to do with Lost Foam or a sand casting process with different modeling materials.

Removing Foundry Sand

A Netter foundry customer in France was working with a form that yielded round cores. Due to the shape of the form, which included multiple small crevices and nooks, it was very difficult to clean all of the foundry sand from the founded product.

The customer purchased a vibrating table equipped with a NEG vibrator. Because the table was able to reach huge accelerations, the customer was able to achieve a thorough removal of the foundry sand, besides they were able to adjust frequency and amplitude.

    Series NEG 3-Phase Electric External Vibrators

    Electric external vibrators of the series NEG are used whenever, for example conveyor chutes or sieves need to be driven. In addition, these devices can loosen material blockages adhesion in silos. The 3-phase NEG units run at 750, 1,000, 1,500 or 3,000 min-1 with a 230/400 V, 50 Hz power supply.

    Pneumatic Spring Bellows

    Our pneumatic spring bellows are made of reinforced multilayer elastomeric polymer. The steel end plates are securely joined to the bellow walls by means of beading and are airtight.
